How do I log in to the site?
To log in to the new county sites, you'll need to have an email account through the Communications and Technology. These are the same accounts that you might have for your email if you address ends with @ag.osu.edu, @ag.ohio-state.edu, or @postoffice.ag.ohio-state.edu. If you need to test your account, you can try to sign in with it using the Web mail pages located at http://postoffice.ag.ohio-state.edu:8100. If you do not have an account, then you may request one using our online email account request form.
Once you have obtained this account, you need to make sure that you have access to edit the areas of the site you are supposed to. In order to have the site set up, someone in your office should have sent in a list of accounts and the access rights for each, outlined in our site requirements section. If this was not the case, please send this list in, and the proper permissions can be granted.
When you want to edit the site, you'll have a different address that you use to edit the site from the address you'll give out to people outside of the office. The address for this will be http://COUNTY-cms.ag.ohio-state.edu. So, if I were in Athens county, the address I would use to edit the site would be http://athens-cms.ag.ohio-state.edu, even though I would still be able to hand out the http://athens.osu.edu address to people outside the office. So you'll now want to head over to the address you'll use to edit your site.
On the front page of your site, at the top of the page there will be a button in the grey navigation bar to log into the site. Once you click on this, you'll be brought to a screen where you'll be prompted for the account name and password that was outlined above. Enter information and click on the Log in button below the form.
If you entered a valid account, you should now be logged into the site and have the following message displayed across the page.
